# How to download the VIF Care app

Follow the steps below for your phone or tablet.


BEFORE YOU START

Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data. Open these
instructions on the device where you want to install VIF Care.


HAVE YOUR APP STORE PASSWORD READY

Your device may ask you to sign in before downloading the app.

 * iPhone or iPad: You may need your Apple Account password (previously called
   Apple ID). Your device may let you use Face ID or Touch ID instead.

 * Android: You need to be signed in to Google Play with your Google Account. If
   you are already signed in, you may not need to enter your password again.

If the app store asks for a password, use your Apple or Google Account
password—not your VIF Care password.


DON’T KNOW YOUR PASSWORD?

Ask a trusted family member, friend, or caregiver to help you recover your
account password.

Once you can sign in, continue with the steps for your device below.


DOWNLOAD ON AN IPHONE OR IPAD

 1. Tap Download VIF Care from the App Store
    [https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vcare/id1508729452?ls=1].

 2. Tap GET.

 3. Follow the instructions on your screen. You may be asked to enter your Apple
    Account password, use Face ID, or use Touch ID.

 4. If you see Double Click to Install, quickly press your device’s side button
    twice.

 5. Wait for the download to finish.

 6. Tap OPEN.

Already see OPEN? The app is installed. Tap OPEN to continue.


DOWNLOAD ON AN ANDROID PHONE OR TABLET

 1. Tap Download VIF Care from Google Play
    [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vif].

 2. If asked to sign in, follow the instructions to sign in to your Google
    Account.

 3. Tap Install.

 4. Wait for the download to finish.

 5. Tap Open.

Already see Open? The app is installed. Tap Open to continue.


WHEN VIF CARE OPENS

 * Already have a VIF Care account? Tap LOGIN.
   
   
   
   

 * Need to create a VIF Care account? Tap Sign Up and follow the instructions
   
   
   
   
   
   

To open VIF Care again later, look for the app icon with the purple VIF letters
and red heart on your Home Screen or in your list of apps.

 * The download is not starting? Check that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or
   cellular data.
