# What is the icon with the red circle & exclamation point used for?

The Crisis (also referred to as Stat) script collects critical information to
help caregivers and emergency responders understand the Care Recipient’s needs.
Most organizations make this script available, but some may not.



Although completing it is not mandatory, we strongly recommend answering every
question and keeping the information up to date to support appropriate care
during an emergency.



If your organization shares information with local dispatchers, much of the
information collected in this script can be passed to first responders during an
emergency. Dispatchers may also have the option to view a PDF summary of
important account information.
